For SD, just plug your Rogers box into the server's PVR150. For HD, you will 
need to plug the (HD capable) Rogers box into an HD1212, and plug that into your 
server.

As far as IR is concerned, you plug your IR receiver into your local front end, 
of course. Otherwise those of us with more than one front end would find it a 
bit tricky. You don't have to use the one on the HD1212, others are available.

Your Firewire may exist as a header on the motherboard. It should be possible to 
find, or to make up yourself, a connector to bring that out the back. That being 
said, if the m/b is old enough, the Firewire chipset might not be well 
implemented or supported, so maybe an upgrade is indicated.
