So, I have a sony TV, one of the 120Hz 1080p ones. I have that cinemotion
feature off for the mythtv input - was on, just turned it off tonight. The
EDID reports 60hz refresh rate, 58-62 I believe.

Either way, the inputs are either 24fps for DVDs(and ASTC HD too?) and 30
for normal analog cable recordings.

Which makes sense that we only notice the jerkiness on the HD and DVD shows.

120hz would be perfect, 120/24 = 5  120/30 = 4

Has anyone gotten a 120hz signal to a Sony? Is it possible? Sending over DVI
-> HDMI cable.

Thanks!
