[mythtv-users] Channel scan does not work

But mythscanner will directly populate the myth db (no need to import),
renumber channels, hide some, etc.

As well, look at makechannels script on www.generationd.com for a nice tool
to edit channels AFTER they're in the myth db.  All batch based, so no need
to manually redo changes after a scan..

Or you can just use dvbscan (part of the dvb-utils package).  It
generates a standard channels.conf, which you can then read in to the
channel scanner in mythtv-setup.
