No one responded because this question gets asked over and over again  
and the answer is kind of obvious if you've read the wiki about  
running trunk.
My answer is "trunk is NEVER stable". Don't count on anything when you  
use it.
If you want to run trunk, it's your responsibility to follow the -dev  
and -commit lists and understand patches that are going in and decide  
for yourself how stable it is and when to check out code to run.
