Just to get right back on to the origivnal problem, I am using
multirec, DVB-S, 2 cards each as 4 virtual tuners.

I can browse LiveTV across muxes [1], as well as change to a channel
on another mux by using the channel number from the remote [2].

I am using mythbuntu 8.04 with whatever version of myth (0.21 I think)
was on the mythbuntu CD - ie I haven't updated since April.

Is my system just weird, or am I misreading the whole problem that
Jelle is referring to? Am I able to do this because nothing else is
recording - ie LiveTV is the only thing using any tuner.

[1] ie use the up/down button to browse through the channels and then
use OK to switch to that channel.

[2] ie simply press 5 0 on the remote to switch to channel 50
