No. It's not in trunk, yet. There was a typo in a commit message which
accidentally closed #5872 instead of #5871.

I leave that up to you all, but setting a TZ environment variable will
always work, so even without the patch, it's easy enough to make things
work properly. For example:
export TZ='America/Los_Angeles'
mythfrontend
or whatever's appropriate for your shell.
