[mythtv-users] Disable dpms in mythbuntu 8.10

[Al McIntosh]

Has anyone else had a difficult time disabling dpms in mytbuntu 8.10. I am
running nvidia driver version 177.80 and have following in xorg.conf

Section "Monitor"
   Option "dpms"
EndSection

I also have the following in ~/.xsessionrc
/usr/bin/xset s noblank
/usr/bin/xset s off
/usr/bin/xset -dpms

With the above the screen still blanks

Thanks..
