So you must also be subscribed to (and following along with) the -dev
list since doing so is a pre-requisite for using unstable code.

What errors are you specifically seeing? It wouldn't be worth it to
upgrade unless you find out that what is broken for you is now fixed.

Yes, trunk has enough to use the HD-PVR. That's what I'm using without
issue.

No idea. I don't run 64 bit.

Since you are following along with the -dev lists, you should know. :)
The biggest change I saw go through was with ticket 5866 which deals
with resolution changes.
http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/5866

I have no idea if it actually fixes anything because I set my STB's to
force 720p output all the time to avoid crashing due to different
resolutions and never changed it (I don't see the need to record at
1080i or anything lower than 720p).

Playback has been improved a bit here and there with resyncs to ffmpeg-
svn.

One thing to note is that I haven't been able to get anything recent
to compile because it now requires a new h264 library that I haven't
installed yet. At least, I think that's my problem. I don't really
know what's wrong until I fix it. :)
