Learning how to to run the yum shell and issue "install" and "remove"
commands on various packages in order to keep the dependencies correct
before issuing a "run" command to run the command set. I learned by
trial and error (though there weren't a lot of errors, yum told me when
things weren't right and I had a chance to abort and change it).

Why do these packages conflict? That's a question for Axel. Some of it
is historical as I'm sure Axel built some of his packages before they
were available in the Fedora repositories in different forms.

Many people compile Myth from source on Fedora without problems (I'm not
one of them, I use ATRPMs). If you do that, you are responsible for
finding, installing, and maintaining the dependant packages so that they
work for you.

You could also try compiling from Axel's .SRPMs, but that would leave
you with the same package conflicts you already have.
