[mythtv-users] playback after pausing for a bit

wondering if anyone else has seen this problem.

When I hit the pause button and leave if for a bit,
at least a couple minutes, trying to resume is painfully
slow. I press the pause or play or any other key and
it takes 30-40 seconds just to respond. When it does start playing
its at about a frame every 10-15 seconds. If I hit enter (marking
location) and then exit after it actually exits, which coule be a minute
or two later, I can go hit play and it resumes from that location just fine.
If I pause for only a little bit it unpauses just fine as well.

the recordings are from the HDPVR, I have HD recordings from a hdhomerun
which dont have this problem.

any thoughts?
