Ah, right.  I thought you'd said that mplayer played ITV HD fine, which 
obviously you didn't!

So just to be clear - Mplayer on Linux will play BBC HD fine, but will 
only play the audio from ITV HD.  Thats the behaviour I see anyway.

The MythTv player will do BBC HD (sound and picture) but in my testing, 
will not play ITV HD at all.
