I am now using Fedora Core 8, and PVR 150 TV card.
I used FC6, and installed mythtv on FC6, and everything works fine
including lirc driver and remote function.
Now, we got a new dual core Shuttle, and use Fedore Core 8(kernel version:
2.6.24.4-64.fc8.i686).
everything is fine besides lirc and remote function.
[root at localhost mythtv]# yum list lirc*
.....
Installed Packages
lirc.i386 0.8.3-74_cvs20080314.f installed
lirc-devices.noarch 0.8-4.fc8 installed
lirc-kmdl-2.6.24.4-64.fc8.i686 0.8.3-74_cvs20080314.f installed
lirc-lib.i386 0.8.3-74_cvs20080314.f installed
lirc-lib-devel.i386 0.8.3-74_cvs20080314.f installed
.....
[root at localhost mythtv]# /sbin/depmod -a
[root at localhost mythtv]# /sbin/modprobe lirc_i2c
[root at localhost mythtv]# /sbin/chkconfig lircd on
[root at localhost mythtv]# /sbin/service lircd start
Starting infrared remote control daemon: [OK]
[root at localhost mythtv]# /usr/bin/irw
but I can not get any reply on terminal when pressing any buttons on my
PVR-150 product attached remote-control.(I have copied lircd.conf to the
folder /etc)
I remembered remote function was OK with the same steps I have done to load
lirc on Fedora Core 6.
and what can I do to solve this problem so as to let ??
Any suggestions and ideas would be welcom:)
Jerry
