can the harmony learn from other remotes directly? as well as function 
as other remotes easily? (I've had trouble researching how to program them)

With the JP1s, is it hard to connect them to my computer, I've been 
looking around and their seams to be two versions which connect 
differently.... I can spend as much time as it takes to make it work but 
it needs to do everything (and I've had some problems with LIRC so 
reprogramming the remote to one with easier funcatility then the gray 
hauppauge with the 4 colored buttons on the bottom would be nice... the 
IRRECORD part doesn't want to work but thats besides the point...)
