What are you planning on using for a tuner? I used to use Fedora with
Wilson's HOWTO, then Mythdora because it was easier, but when I tried using
my Set Top Box with firewire I had so many problems that I switched to
Mythbuntu. I'm currently running a Mythbuntu 7.10 backend upgraded to Myth
.21 with several Mythbuntu 8.04 Front Ends and I doubt I'll ever go back to
Mythdora, but I wouldn't necessarily put down Mythdora, especially since I
haven't used it since version 4. If you're already familiar with Ubuntu,
Mythbuntu might be the way to go.
