Colin,

I have had a working myth setup for a few years now, and it's great.  My
wife loves it and uses it frequently.  However, there is no way it would
work without me living in the same house.  Unless you live in your Mom's
basement, I would vote with 'no'.  Tivo is probably a better investment.
