That's the root of the problem.  mythfilldatabase runs and replaces a 
bunch of information, then the reschedule fails, so Myth continues to 
record what used to be the right programs until the next successful 
reschedule (i.e. probably the one kicked off by the master backend 
itself--where socket issues won't come into play--when a new recording 

It's also exactly why the broken video sources caused issues for me, but 
on your system, the reschedule failure is not caused by a broken video 
source, but by...

the socket errors.  As to what's causing the socket errors, you're on 
your own.  A lot of users get them, but I don't know why (and I never 
get them on my four 0.21-fixes systems).
