[mythtv-users] scanfw -- a CCI/EMI scanner for firewire

the mythbuntu MythTV development team is proud to announce the
development of scanfw- an EMI/CCI scanner to help identify encrypted
stb channels on firewire connections.

a motorola-only alpha version of scanfw is now available for wider
testing.  a scientific atlanta version is in development and will be
available for wider testing soon.  anyone interested in hands-on
testing during the coding of the SA scanner are encouraged to reply
directly to majoridiot at the originating email address of this post.
