[mythtv-users] Problem upgrading from 0.20 to 0.21

I also used Gentoo, and haven't done the upgrade yet -- planning on it
in a week or so.  Just out of curiosity, do you actually need lirc
support ?  If not, you could try emerging it without the lirc use flag
and see if that helps, e.g. "USE=-lirc emerge mythtv".
