Here's some more info.  I just tailed my /var/log/messages, and saw this:

May  7 22:45:31 HJDMyth kernel: mythtranscode[10770] trap divide error 
rip:41ee7a rsp:7fff0e193490 error:0

Can I assume that mythtranscode crashed and that's why it's not 
working?  I'm going on 36 hours for this Mytharchive job.
