[mythtv-users] Getting 852x480 plasma into native

I have a Sonic plasma TV. It's native resolution is 852x480 but no
matter what I try in the xorg.conf file, X will not start up in that
mode.

Here is my modeline
Modeline "852x480"   33.07  852 872 912 1068  480 483 488 516
When I have this modeline set my plasma will not display a picture.
The video selection box on the TV pops up saying HDMI Unknown. It
would normally show 576p, 640x480 etc..
when I remove the modeline x starts up in 1080i then switchs to 576p
Spent hours on this and seem to be getting nowhere.

I am connecting over HDMI.
