Right, but you need to trigger a reschedule so MythTV knows you have 
changed the state of that tuner from available to in use and it should 
reschedule the recording.

Again, if it prompted you, the default action would have happened if you 
didn't answer and the tuner would have changed channels and recorded 
what it was supposed to record originally.

You should figure out why that didn't happen. It was put in place to 
avoid this exact situation.
