But then you would need an antenna. I get the local channel subbands
unencrypted with comcast. I am not sure if the compression factor is
more with these over ATSC or not. Either way the ATSC/QAM/NTSC card
was like $40 so it was worth it to me to just get the 10 to 15
channels I get with it. Although I wish the digital music worked with
it. I pick up the digital music on my HD tv without a box.
