Digital svideo? No such thing. He's talking about when you have a single
source (cable box), but record both analog (composite, svideo) and
digital (firewire or coax) which happens often if you have lots of
channels you can get over firewire/digital coax but a few you still have
to get via analog (svideo, composite, etc.)
"Coax" is confusing in this sense because on an analog STB, it's analog,
but on a digital STB, it's digital.
