[mythtv-users] LiveTV question

I recently set up my masterbackend with 2 HD capture cards. My combo  
slave back/frontend has a hauppage bt878 card in it. I was wondering  
if there was a way to tell it NEVER to record on that tuner unless I  
specifically told it to. The intent behind this is to allow my  
channel flippers (that's a discussion we won't deal with, I've tried  
to explain to them why they need to get off their asses and stop  
flipping channels all the time) to watch live tv any time they want,  
on the card in the slave device. I've already got the avoid conflicts  
between livetv box checked, and have the priority of the SD tuner set  
to a negative number so I would believe that by default it wouldn't  
attempt to use the HD cards for live TV ever. This doesn't seem to be  
the case, and causes some issue. When HD is recording, I can't seem  
to play it on the frontend. This proves true for something that's  
scheduled to record, as well as when I just bump into live TV to see  
what's happening.

What I really want, is for anything that is scheduled, to record on  
the HD tuners, and the SD tuner to be solely for livetv. Is this an  
option?
