Is the theme directory and all files & subdirectories readable by the mythtv user? You might have created it as only readable by root (or whatever user you ssh in as or launch your desktop as). In that case, the frontend can see the directory but cannot read the themeinfo.xml and other files, so doesn't think it's a valid theme. -- Ron
