Hi,
I am trying to configure the HRV 1300 from hauppauge without more luck.
The card is working fine, dvb-t does work but my Freeview reception is
very poor.
What I would like to do is to use the analogic part.
The driver work fine both with raw data (/dev/video0) and the mpeg
encoder (/dev/video1).
cat /dev/video1 > test.mpeg give me a nice mpeg file
I manage to configure video0 with v4l (without sound) but I want to use
the mpeg encoder.
I try use v4l with device video1 in mythtv-setup without success.
backend.log:
2008-03-22 16:53:26.457 NVR(/dev/video1): Unknown video codec. Please
go into the TV Settings, Recording Profiles and setup the four 'Software
Encoders' profiles. Assuming RTjpeg for now.
2008-03-22 16:53:26.457 NVR(/dev/video1) Error: Unknown audio codec
I am not sure if I have to use mpeg capture card so I did try to:
2008-03-22 16:55:32.279
Not ivtv driver??
2008-03-22 16:55:32.286 MPEGRec(/dev/video1) Error: Can't open video device.
eno: Device or resource busy (16)
I read as well that a cx88_ivtv exist to emulate ivtv for this card but
this is now obsolete
(http://lists-archives.org/video4linux/19982-cx88-ivtv-emulation-hvr-1300.html)
So what is the way to make it work with mythtv?
Any suggestion?
Xavier
PS: I use svn 0.21 fixed branche
