[mythtv-users] Recommendations for a good DVB-C card?

Well, i can't tell you anything about the technotrend C-1501 but i do have two C-1500. And they work very well except that some channels do get "blocky" image for some reason. I know its not a bitrate issue since i can record hd channels with far higher bitrate without problems. So to sum things up, think twice before buying a C-1500. When it works it works very well and the linux drivers are superb (better than the "official" windows drivers in fact). But for some strange reason the card has problems tuning some channels.

Good luck!

/Peter
