  The GeForce 6100 on the other hand does not support TV encoding 
  or TMDS/DVI output, and only sports standard definition (4:3) playback.


I think there's a bunch of NVidia chipsets out there that have very limited or 
no support for XvMC. Came across a reference somewhere that the 6150 supports 
purevideo acceleration but the 6100 and 6200 do not.
