David, ok, I do have that file in the correct location...i think. There is
no /etc/httpd/ folder, but there is a /etc/apache2/ folder, so that's where
I put the httpd.conf file. As per this discussion:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=430448, that seems to be correct.
It has all the defaults in it since my mythtv user and password are mythtv
and mythtv. Now, here is something strange...I can login to mysql as root
from the command line, but not as user mythtv...using this command:

mysql -u mythtv -pmythtv mythconverg

It doesn't work. But, when I go into my mythfrontend/backend and go into the
settings/general in the frontend, the user and password are both mythtv and
mythtv...so why does the frontend work, but not the command line? I even
changed the password (logged in as root) for the mythtv user to be mythtv
again, just incase something was different, but that didn't change anything.

Lastly, I also changed the mythweb.conf file to use the root user and
password, just to see if that worked, and it did not work either. I then
changed the mythweb.conf file to say the ip of the mythbackend, and not
localhost, and that didn't work either.

I also followed these instructions from the mythtv wiki:
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/MythWeb_SVN_Ubuntu ---nothing is
working.
Gotta love it. Any other ideas?
-Steve
