Nick, I will manually put those little carots in for now. I have the setting
to do the >'s on the replies, but it's not working. Yes, I'm using outlook
2000.
Brad, I ran that command, said it was successful, still no change. There
just has to be something else going on.
Is there any way someone can give me exact examples? I could not find any
ubuntu specific mythweb setup instructions. I must have some file in the
wrong place, or some setting set wrongly. Also, since mythweb worked just
fine before I took off the ubuntu packages and went to svn, this leads me to
believe the mysql db is fine and it's something else. I could be wrong
though of course.
But please, can someone give me a really dumbed down step by step, "here is
where you put this file, here is where you put that file" type of
instructions? Even if it's totally unsecure, I'd just like to get it
working, and then I'll add the security to it.
Lastly, if someone is bold enough, I would be more than willing to give you
ssh root access into my box. I'll only give it to someone whom I've seen do
many posts on the myth list, and not a first time poster. Ya ya, don't do
that cause it's not a good idea, but I trust the myth community, plus, there
is nothing important on the computer other than tv recordings.
-Thanks for the help (and patience with me). I'm sure it's something stupid
and simple that I've missed, but I seriously hope it's something that is
more complex (for the sake of my pride).
-Steve
