There are at least two over the air channels in my area (South Eastern
Indiana) with advertisements stating that everyone needs to convert to
digital TV by February 2009 and stating, "some TV's may stop working all
together". The rest of the information in the ads is nebulous enough to
very definitely give the impression that everyone needs to replace their
TV set.
