Further investigation indicates it can actually be *any* message; it's
just that I get a lot of SIGNAL messages when changing channels and that
raises the probability that it will be one of those.

Yes. I think it's not directly related to LiveTV watching, but channel
hopping in LiveTV is simply a quick way to provoke it.

I've opened Ticket #4854 for it, and am continuing to poke at it in the
hope of isolating it a bit further. Next thing I suppose is to turn on all
the messages to give me an idea of the code path and start reading the
code to see if I can find anything suspicious. I'm kind of hoping someone
familiar with the code base will have a eureka moment and save me the
effort, but if not I suppose it gives me worthwhile something to do in the
evenings :-)
