If you're running a(n old) version of ddclient that refreshes every 2 
weeks (15 days, IIRC), you should update to a new version and/or set:

max-interval=28d

in your ddclient.conf, as renewing (without changing) an IP more 
frequently than once per 28 days is considered abuse ( 
http://www.dyndns.com/services/dns/dyndns/readme.html#abuse ) and can 
get your hosts blocked for abuse.

Note, though, that "max-interval" was not supported by old ddclient 
versions (and you had to edit the Perl directly to change the update 
interval).  There were a few versions that kept the 15-day interval, but 
supported "max-interval", then--IIRC--they just changed the default to 
25 days (which is still too short for dyndns, but is less likely to get 
you blocked than if you're using 15 days).
