I'll play with that, wasn't aware of it. I have a G4 iBook I picked up cheap 
that's not doing anything...

I'm running YD on a PS3, it can play HD but with a pretty high CPU load due to 
not having access to the accelerated video.

I still think a 1.8 G5 should be able to play HD, but the overhead of OSX may 
be hurting it. Still, it shipped with HD editing software so I'd expect it to 
be able to play back in real time.

OP: Did you try playing from a local disk? What about using a standalone 
player instead of the Myth F/E?
