[mythtv-users] MythArchive error need some assistance...

This smells of a bad device being used.  I'd like to see the drive 
information found by the system when it boots.  Look through your 
/var/log/messages file, or your /var/log/dmesg (or /var/log/boot.log) if 
you have one.....  grep -i for "hdb"
