Thanks Nico,

That is very helpful.  I am maintaining myth through putty from my study 
while my wife is watching GMA so this a lot better for me than using the 
myth control center as Steve suggested although I appreciate his input 
as well.

I did this:

sudo wget http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/hardy.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list

and
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install medibuntu-keyring && sudo apt-get update

Then this
sudo apt-get install w32codecs

Finally, I did this
sudo apt-get install libdvdcss2
and it upgraded my previously installed package.

That is all that is listed in https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu

So, do I need to do anything else or am I done?
