[mythtv-users] Slow mo channels

I have had mythtv running on my ubuntu 7.10 machine for a while. i get great hd pictures on nbc, public tv station, cw and cbs; however, fox and abc are not perfect. it appears the pictures is somewhat of a slow motion and then it stutters every 2 or 3 seconds also. i tune into QAM with qam-256 thru coaxial cable.
   
  i've optimized my xorg environment which i think it is. i have direct rendering enabled and overal the picture itself is great but as i said on those two channels i have the above mentioned problem. here are some specs:
  processor amd 64 bit 5600
  memory 2 gig
  disk 500 gig
  os ubuntu 7.10 (amd 64 bit version)
  myth 0.20.2 (compiled locally with dpkg build option)
  video driver (fglrx proprietary from ati for x1200 onboard card)
  tuner pchdtv 5500 (i think it's a conexant type of card)
   
  if you can help solve this problem, that would be great.
