Right after I sent the last message, I looked at my logs and didn't see
any of the "Problem with capture cards" message. I also noticed that
under the Capture Cards in mythtv-setup, the GUID was being shown now.
It used to say "[Firewire: ]" (notice the blank after Firewire. Now it
says "[Firewire: 00159AFFFE163F4A]". For some reason it wasn't being
picked up before and now it is. I don't really know why.

I have a test recording set to record a show over the firewire
connection to check it out. Its due to start in 5 minutes (from when
I'm typing this). I recall putting the channel change script into one
of the setup screens during my earlier setup steps, so I hope it'll
change the channel and start the recording for me. If it doesn't I'll
let you know.

I appreciate all of your help and ideas.
Harry
