I was wrong too. I screwed up my original search (well, I'd argue
that Google screwed it up... I searched on "myth" rather than
"mythtv". why does gmail not find partial matches!?!*#@). That
message was caught by my gmail spam filter and has the correct
headers. So obviously spammers have discovered and subscribed to the
mailing list.

Here's the important header info, if anyone running the list can block
(or at least unsubscribe) them:

Received: from ABTS-KK-Dynamic-067.14.171.122.airtelbroadband.in
(unknown [122.171.14.67]) by www.mythtv.org (Postfix) with SMTP id
37DF16F0055 for <mythtv-users at mythtv.org>; Wed, 30 Jul 2008 07:40:01

X-Mailer: CME-V6.5.4.3; MSN
Message-Id: <20080730061006.7068.qmail at ABTS-KK-Dynamic-067.14.171.122.airtelbroadband.in>

I also found an older message in the spam filter with these headers:

Received: from SCGRE02 (unknown [68.115.195.116]) by www.mythtv.org
(Postfix) with SMTP id CFAF3C24762 for <mythtv-dev at mythtv.org>; Tue,
