In fact, a client of mine just got a SciAt 4250HDC box from Bright
House Tampa Bay to hook up to their new Visio HDTV (1680x1050, $380 at
Sam's Club, and *damned* pretty) via HDMI.

The installer, of course, ripped everything apart and hooked it up
component.

After I hooked it back up HDMI, and while I was working on programming
it and training the user, I accidentally hit *some* button, and the
HDMI output got an overlapped black dialogue box that said something
about "Copy Protected Programming: YPrPb output disabled".

You do the math.
