To make my previous comment a little clearer, each recording adds a
chunk of RSS to the mythbackend process, which is released once the
recording finishes. I have noticed that the 'baseline' level of
mythbackend memory usage increased by a small amount a couple of days
ago, but has been fairly stable since then. I'll post an updated graph
tomorrow.
