The project does seem to cover alot of what is being discussed here.  Looks
like it simply uses it's own database tables and manages subscriptions from
a command-line.  I think having a hook into MythNews for a button that
perhaps is "Subscribe to this feed" that calls the mythnettv subscription
command would be worth looking at and a very simple way to start.  Further
integration might be to have some ties between the mythnettv schema and the
MythNews schema so that a simple checkbox in MythNews marks a feed as
subscribed so you don't even have to use the script but rather the script
reads from the MythNews feeds list as its source.
