[mythtv-users] Problem with Video output (black and white only)

I am using a svideo to composite adapter to convert the svideo from my
video card to composite video into the TV.  If I plug the svideo all
the way into the adapter I get a crisp clear black and white image
only on the TV.  If i barely connect the svideo to the adapter I get a
color image on the TV.  I am going to buy a svideo to composite cable
from monoprice to rule out the adapter having a problem.  I read on a
review on their site that it might be that I am sending a PAL signal
out instead of NSTC.  Has anyone else seen this and if so where would
I go to likely correct it?
