[mythtv-users] Backend segfaults recording from S-VIDEO

Hello Friends,

I have a pchdtv HD-3000 card and I'm trying to configure it to receive
standard definition channels from my cable box over s-video. I have made
the connections and I can watch TV flawlessly using tvtime and VLC. The
problem is, I can't get it to capture in Myth.

I set up the tuner as an analog tuner using V4L and default settings. I
created a source for analog channels and assigned it to the s-video input.
I added a channel for it. I'm using the same channel changer script as I do
for the firewire HD inputs I am using to receive HD content from the cable
box (sa3250hd).

I can watch and record the firewire source just fine. But whenever I try to
watch or record from the s-video input, the backend unceremoniously
segfaults. I do not believe this is related to display settings because the
backend segfaults even when setting a program from the s-video source to
record using mythweb.

It is my understanding that it is bad etiquette to paste large logs and
debug information to the list. To see the backend, frontend, and dmesg
logs, please visit this thread:

I would appreciate any assistance. Thanks in advance!

Christopher
