[mythtv-users] Problem with LIRC: "Advance" does not skip comercials

Alan,

I am having the same exact problem as you except I did a clean  
install of Mythbuntu 8.04 and my remote stopped working two weeks  
after the install for no apparent reason.
I still have not figure out a solution for this problem yet.
