Hi Kevin,
You are correct!!! It is certainly true that it was not the HDHR not
completing its DHCP as it was never power cycled. It had to be the
computer. I reserved its IP address in the DHCP server and gave the
computer a static IP address, booted and vola -- success!!!
That was way too easy. Thanks!
I would think this would be considered a Mythbuntu bug as I didn't do
anything to make it happen other than buy a fast computer. It isn't my
network because I connected the computer directly to the HDHR and that
configuration had the same problem although it is supported per Silicon
Dust.
Anyway, I am set so thanks again. Hopefully if someone else has this
problem, they can find this post and solve it.
