[mythtv-users] Some MythVideos (and youtube) playing too quickly

Hi,

I've noticed when using the internal player, sometimes the video plays too
quickly, the sound is cutting out (similar to adjusting the playback speed
but worse - if I adjust the playback speed to around 0.85x it seems roughly
at the right speed, but the sound is still choppy). It often happens when
viewing youtube videos from MythNews, but I've just made an xvid video, and
it has a similar problem.

I've tried changing "Use video as a timebase", but it has no difference. How
can I fix this?
