Hi All,

At least it seem to me to be sporadic...
In fact, my mythtv system used to work quite well over the past
months. But after the last update my backend started to crash from
time to time. It may work just fine for several days and then crash
twice during a few hours - witout a visible reason.

Strange thing is that the mythbackend.log often does not contain any
mention of a crash - like nothing happened! But sometimes after a
crash I can see some evidence like this:

*** glibc detected *** mythbackend: malloc(): memory corruption (fast): 0x08dec407 ***

But I don't really know what it means and I don't know how to deal
with that. My system is:

# uname -a
Linux mythbackend 2.6.25.6-27.fc8 #1 SMP Fri Jun 13 16:38:52 EDT 2008 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Please include all output in bug reports.

I have two DVB-S cards installed (TT S-1401). These are the only
tuners I have.

I kindly ask you for your support, any hints are really appreciated!
