Jaysus I knew we were getting price gouged in NZ but thats sharp! US$599 =
NZ$740 (give or take $10).

However the cheapest 2.0G MacMini is retail NZ$1231!

I read with relish yesterday that the sole NZ official re-seller of Apple
gear has lost its monopoly (and suffered a share tumble in the process).
However they also now own the only retail chain of specialty Mac computer
shops in NZ. Sux.
