Maybe it is awful.  This is mine:

SCANNING: 537000000 (us-cable:76, us-irc:76)
LOCK: qam256 (ss=92 snq=100 seq=100)
PROGRAM: 2: 32.1 KWBP-Po
PROGRAM: 3: 12.1 Fox 12

And myth has never failed to lock on to any of my channels.
